Most of these courses are designed for a particular audience and prepare the trainees to work with that particular audience upon completion of the training. Examples of these audiences may include; lifeguards and emergency response professional and others.

The last stage of the training is monitoring. Most organization will monitor their trainees before giving them the certification. The monitoring involves being evaluated in a teaching class to ensure that you have obtained the appropriate skills to impart the knowledge, both during the practical session and in the classroom.

Finally, the graduates are awarded the Certified to be CPR instructors, and they are entrusted with the duty of educating the public on life saving techniques. It is vital to note that the certification is usually valid for a specified period. When the validity period is over, the instructors should consider renewing them. Besides, during the first few years of certification, they should teach at least four classes.
