Skills could be taught to them to be used for survival and be able to earn a living. Once they learn, they will stand on their own and would not rely from anyone anymore.
A lifestyle that could sustain them for a long time. That is part of your mission. So they will not keep asking help from others. But they will work on their own and be contented of what they have. Some of these young children do not have the access to free education. Due to the distance and they lack the motivation to do it.
Making God as the center of everything is important. Though, there are some trials that would come, but if your relationship is strong enough, then everything is going to be okay. You can organize a group to teach them the word of God. It does not matter where you want to held it. But you can always encourage them to join and explain it to them the importance of it.
Just make sure you have your documents ready. Usually, the one who would do the missions are required to present some documents for their travel. And state the purpose of your trip. If you have to undergo some medical like getting shots for your own protection, best to do it. It is for your own safety since you would be traveling to another country.
You do not have to be rich to offer some help. You could join any organization that focused on helping countries that are not well off. Because you will find some generous people that will fund the organization. This is important to make the mission successful. Not all people has the determination to go to the trip. So they prefer to just give financial assistance.
